Yadira Henriquez

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Yadira Henriquez attended the Colegio Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic and Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) where she graduated with a degree in Business Administration. “Since 1994, I have engaged in the banking sector; I started working at the Central Bank, and in 1998 got involved with commercial banking, working directly with customers guiding them with all their banking needs.” Yadira moved to Montreal in 2008, and in 2009, worked for the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic as Deputy Director of the Tourism Promotion Office in Montreal. In June of 2014, she was named as the Representative of the Ministry in the Atlantic Canada which covered four provinces in Eastern Canada purposed with focus promoting her country in this important area. She actively participated in product launches and fairs as well as organized press trips and events for the members of the industry, customers, tour operator and travel agents. “When you live abroad, you become the best tourism promoter of your country. In Canada something very special happens -- most of the people love our country and embrace our language.” Everyone Yadira brushed up against asked her, “what is a Caribbean person doing in a cold place like this?” Yadira had always flirted with the idea of going into Real Estate. While she lived in Montreal, many friends from the Dominican Republic contacted her to locate apartments for their children who would be attending the nearby university. She enjoyed helping the college kids relocate and settle. When Yadira and her husband moved to Miami in 2018, she dove into the Real Estate industry and joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty. She has brought her compassion for people and her passion for Miami to the table. She has helped people with her personalized customer service. Page | 2 Yadira has been a quick study because she loves to learn new things – especially staying on top of the industry, studying the latest graphs and charts, interacting with people, negotiations, and that basking in the victory of getting the deals done. She prides herself on follow up and follow through and loves to finish strong -- tying all loose ends into a tight and tidy bow. When she is not working with her clients, she loves the beach, the movies, attending live concerts, and exercising. She bikes, goes to the gym, engages in outdoor boot camp and practices yoga to keep her life centered and balanced.
